Weekend Sunshine XXX

Heyyooo everyone! Weekends good? Mine was great and short. Literally and figuratively -- it felt short and I worked on Sunday. That being said it was suuupperrrrr low key and really relaxing right before things kick into high gear for the next two months. We have a lot of fun adventures planned in May and June that I've been looking forward to for months. For now, let me show you all the food I ate this weekend (because that's pretty much what this post consists of). Let's get to it, shall we?!

Selfie I sent to Rob: "It's the freakinnnn' weekendddd... where are you?"

Zoodle with meat sauce on a FriDAY night. MMM MMM Good!

We gave avocado toast a hiatus this weekend and went with spicy tuna toast. Yum!

The pomodoro pizza at Pastoral is PERFECTION. It's just sauce with chili oil and basil. Deeelish!

Anddd here's the extent of my Sunday Food Prep: Quiche. It was a nice treat at lunch today!

HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?!
DO YOU "SUNDAY FOOD PREP"?

Saturday Reading

How badly does this make you want a donut? Oh snap!
Last night, Rob and I finished Season 1 of Bloodline. Oh man. Did anyone else finish it yet?! I won't spoil it for those that haven't but, I will say that I'm so intrigued by what Season 2 will be like! It's a short weekend for me as I am working tomorrow, however, I will surely make the best of it. Workouts, organization, and relaxation today followed by a nice dinner tonight. What do you all have in store?

Here are my favorite reads of the week - there are a lot of good ones today!

This last-place Boston Marathon finisher is one of the most inspiring humans ever.

Love this map of state foods. I've had 7 on the list. California, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Washington (and I was only in Seattle for 1 night).

I really enjoyed reading Tina and Janae's marathon recaps.

So over the skinny arm, too!

Love this impact of a positive response.

This cauliflower soup looks SO decadent.

Great tips on blogging for business.

This strawberry lattice pie. OMG.

The top 10 happiest countries on earth.

I feel like this question gets asked about microwaves a lot.

Four reasons to keep lifting as you age.

Have a wonderful weekend! xo

Friday Favs 4.24.15

Good morning and HAPPY HAPPY Friday! TGIF! Is it just me or did this short week feel long? I'm so ready for a weekend of relaxation, fun, (and a little bit of work on Sunday). Rob and I have one episode left of Bloodline. It's pretty much the only show that we've watched in completion besides Homeland. We have been watching House of Cards and House of Lies for what seems like forever. I'm not even sure what episode or season we are on - ha! I usually fall asleep and/or blog/read blogs during both and I end up asking a lotttt of questions. Whoops. Anyway, do you guys have any other good show recommendations? I should include the disclaimer that I'm a very picky TV watcher and besides Homeland, I don't like thrillers or anything scary or gory. I know, that cuts out a lot of good ones. Rom-Coms for life! Moving on, here are my favs of the week! Hope your weekend is awesome!

{Fenway Park}

{Boston Strong colored flowers in the pouring rain at the finish line}

{Crazy Castle Island Sky}

{Tacos made with all the leftovers}

{Simple as that.}
